Dan Avila is a Strategic Account Leader at enVista and is responsible for managing the relationship with enVista’s most strategic accounts. Dan brings 20+ years of experience in supply chain and operations. Before joining enVista, Dan was a supply chain consulting practice leader for St. Onge Company; a Sr. Vice President of Consulting & Sales for LeanCor Supply Chain Group; and a Partner for Tompkins International. Dan started his career at United Parcel Service where he was an industrial engineer and hub manager.
Dan has worked across several industries and has consulting experience in the following areas: supply chain network strategy; end to end supply chain practices; distribution & fulfillment center design; supply chain IT systems (WMS, LMS, TMS); manufacturing facility design; lean & six sigma practices; operations excellence; continuous improvement; inventory & demand planning; integrated business planning (S&OP); procurement; strategic sourcing; strategic outsourcing; transportation; and global trade.
Dan has completed over 250 supply chain consulting engagements in his career, including work with the following private equity firms: Arcline Investment Management, General Atlantic, Sun Capital Partners, KKR, Irving Place Capital, LongueVue Capital, Blackstone, The Comvest Group, Audax Group, TriVest Partners, Castenea Partners, Kelso & Company, Platinum Equity, Berkshire Partners, Tailwind Capital, Crestview Partners, and Carlyle Group.
Dan earned his BSc in Operations Management from California State Polytechnic University and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
