enVista Recognized in Green Supply Chain Award for Its Continued Commitment to Sustainability

For the eighth consecutive year, Supply & Demand Chain Executive recognizes enVista for its success in fostering sustainability throughout the supply chain

INDIANAPOLIS -- —

enVista, a leading global software solutions and consulting services firm, optimizing and unifying both physical and digital commerce, announces that Supply & Demand Chain Executive has selected enVista as a recipient of its Green Supply Chain Award for 2019.

The Green Supply Chain Award recognizes companies that have made it a goal to create more ecofriendly supply chains, focusing on ways to reuse or recycle items throughout their operations. This is enVista’s eighth consecutive year being recognized for its commitment to creating solutions that not only optimize the supply chain and increase the bottom line but protect and improve the environment.

Contributing to enVista’s selection was the firm’s recent work with a $300+ million-dollar retailer, designing and optimizing the company’s supply chain network and inventory management strategy. Due to the retailer’s unique seasonal business model, enVista enabled the company with the tools to maintain inventory and ship from its physical stores, eliminating the need for costly distribution center operations. The optimized supply chain network has and will continue to reduce the footprint of large distribution center operating costs, labor expenditures, and carbon emissions, estimated to save the retailer an average of $4.1 million per year.

enVista CEO, Jim Barnes, says, “At enVista, we believe that it is our duty not only to be a trusted partner in optimizing our clients’ supply chains but to be socially and environmentally responsible amid those partnerships.”

Barnes continues, “We are honored to be recognized by SDCE for the eighth consecutive year for our commitment to sustainability. We look forward to continually pursuing innovative ways to help our clients optimize their supply chains from end-to-end and reduce their carbon footprints.”
