WHAT: enVista will present multiple sessions at the 2019 AXUG User Group Summit North America, taking place October 15-18 at the Gaylord Palms Resort, in Kissimmee, Florida.

  • Title: “The People Side of Technology Implementations and Upgrades”
  • When: Wednesday, October 16 at 9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. EST
  • Presenters: Robert Nowak (Lippert Components), Steve Gary, Hilary Schwartzbach
  • Abstract: A new solution is more than just a different system. The different functionality of a new solution will result in changes in behavior, processes and people that the system will support. Having a plan to properly manage that change will increase project success with minimized resistance and maximized user adoption. In this session you’ll hear from Lippert Components, as they discuss the rollout of D365FO across Lippert’s network of 2,000+ users within 45 sites. Attendees will learn organizational change management strategies that allowed for Lippert to identify barriers, creating a plan to address these barriers, and communicating the change throughout the upgrade.

  • Title: Partner Solutions Showcase: “Customer Panel: Three Customers Discuss Their Unique AX to D365 Journey”
  • When: Wednesday, October 16 at 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. EST
  • Presenters: Steve Gary, Kyle McNerney
  • Abstract: We’ve successfully migrated dozens of customers from their existing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 or AX 2012 ERP systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Join three of enVista’s customers for a discussion/Q&A on their digital transformation journey, what worked, what they wish they did differently, and best practices to help your organization embark on the D365 migration journey. It’s a must-see session if an upgrade is on your horizon and you want to hear how other companies like yours have done it successfully!

  • Title: “Standard and Actual Costing in Dynamics 365FO and AX”
  • When: Thursday, October 17 at 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. EST
  • Presenter: Nigel Cox
  • Abstract: This session will answer all of your questions about standard versus actual costing and its implications within your business. Some of the questions that will be answered are: What are the differences between standard and actual costing? When is one more appropriate than the other? Can a hybrid work? Why does Lean manufacturing only permit standard cost? How is overhead accounted for? How do you reconcile planning, scheduling and cost accounting when defining bills of material and routings? What if you are pure distribution with no manufacturing?
