enVista will discuss how to extend the value of MercuryGate’s Transportation Management System post-implementation
enVista, a leading global supply chain consulting and IT services firm, today announces it will help lead an educational session at the annual MercuryGate User Conference. At this conference, MercuryGate customers and partners gather to learn about MercuryGate’s current plans and to exchange ideas. Attendees will gain helpful information about the use of MercuryGate’s products and industry insight from market leaders.
enVista will participate in the following panel presentation:
Getting to the Next Phase of the Implementation
- Description: Many logistics service providers (LSPs) are able to go live on a transportation management system (TMS) and achieve a return on investment. But MercuryGate’s TMS has broadened functionality. LSPs merge and divest, customer’s requirements evolve, and the market changes. Many MercuryGate clients have to understand how to approach undertaking additional implementations to keep up with the dynamic environment. In this session, attendees will learn from several long-term TMS users on how they gathered the new requirements, were educated on the tool, built (and socialized) the business case internally, and then implemented the solution(s).
- Geoff Milsom, Director, enVista
- Dale Carpenter, VP Transportation, DSC Logistics
- Mark Walus, VP Transportation Strategy & Procurement, RR Donnelley
“Applications evolve, shippers and logistics services get bought and sold, and there’s rapid development of niche third-party software adding value to an implemented TMS. DSC and RR Donnelley will help attendees understand what it’s like to do additional implementation phases, integration, process change, and post-implementation value capture around their current environment,” said Milsom.
