Supply chain and IT consulting firm recognized for promoting sustainability through supply chains for the sixth consecutive year
enVista, a leading, global consulting and software solutions firm, today announces it has received the Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine Green Supply Chain Award for the sixth consecutive year. The award recognizes companies that make green initiatives and sustainability a core part of their supply chain strategy and offer services and solutions that assist customers in achieving measurable sustainability goals. Award recipients will be featured in the December issue of the magazine.
enVista consultants are Lean Six Sigma experts dedicated to helping clients reduce waste from source to consumption, saving companies money along the way. The company has helped many clients meet their goals of going green through services including supply chain network design, inventory optimization, facility design build, labor management, transportation strategy, and operations improvement.
Contributing to enVista’s 2017 Green Supply Chain Award was its recent work with a Fortune 50 beverage company to implement a comprehensive labor management program in more than 30 of its markets across the United States and Canada. Following enVista’s workforce solution implementation, the client’s markets have averaged an 18 percent increase in productivity improvements, along with increased on-time dispatch and delivery and improved delivery truck capacity due to better stacking processes, which in turn provide reduced greenhouse gas and carbon emissions.
“enVista was founded on the core principle of reducing supply chain waste to enable our clients’ enterprise success,” said enVista President and CEO, Jim Barnes. “Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s recognition of enVista as a sustainability leader for six consecutive years is a testament to our long-standing commitment of delivering innovative solutions and reducing waste from source to consumption.”
