enVista Leader Receives Food Logistics Champions

enVista Senior Managing Partner Ken Mullen receives honor for significant contributions to supply chain industry through work with food and beverage clients

Indianapolis -- —

enVista, a leading global supply chain consulting and IT services firm, is proud to announce that Senior Managing Partner Ken Mullen has been named to the Food Logistics Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain list.

The award was conceived as a way to recognize influential individuals and organizations in the food/beverage industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped and continue to attain milestones in safety, efficiency, productivity and innovation throughout the global food supply chain.

“Ken brings deep experience and supply chain expertise across many industries, including food and beverage,” said enVista President and CEO Jim Barnes. “With practical working knowledge of best practices, a holistic approach to supply chain challenges and a passion for client success, Ken has proven he truly is a rock star here at enVista and his clients agree.”

For more than 25 years, Mullen has worked in the supply chain industry, helping companies save money and reduce waste, from source to consumption. He has worked with leading food and beverage brands including Batory Foods, Four Seasons Produce, PepsiCo, Costco, and many more. In addition, Mullen has presented at numerous industry events including United Fresh, ProMat and Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) conference.

For the past ten years, Mullen has worked at enVista where he says his passion for addressing challenges in the food and beverage industry has grown.

“It is an honor to win this award from Food Logistics,” said Mullen. “When looking for solutions to business challenges, it’s always important to first have a clear understanding of the to-be process before investing in automation or technology. By themselves, automation and technology are not the panacea to solve a business problem. However, when introduced under the guidance of detailed process definition, these forms of automation can and do drive significant value and savings for a customer. I look forward to continuing to help enVista’s food and beverage clients address their long-term goals and requirements.”

enVista has had an associate listed as a Food Logistics Champion since the award’s inaugural year in 2015.
