Papyrus and enVista Partner on WMS Upgrade Project to Improve Efficiencies Across the Supply Chain
INDIANAPOLIS, November 3, 2008 --
Papyrus, a specialty stationery and
gift store chain, has partnered with enVista, the leading enterprise
cost management services provider, to successfully implement an
upgrade of Papyrus' RedPrairie warehouse management system.
The Papyrus and enVista teams completed the upgrade in approximately
four months. With the upgrade, Papyrus is able to take advantage of new
functionality in the RedPrairie application, now supported in a .NET
solution architecture. The upgrade provides support for third-party
logistics functions including multiple company product management and
storage policies. It also includes support for the UPS ConnectShip
manifesting solution, and the mitigation of previous enhancements in
place of current base system functionality. Papyrus and enVista will
continue their partnership with future transportation opportunities, more
efficient dock management functions, and additional radio frequency (RF)
paperless functionality.
