enVista Launches “enVista Green” 

Leading enterprise cost management services provider institutes policies to positively impact the environment

INDIANAPOLIS, May 28, 2008 -- enVista, a leader in enterprise cost management solutions, has announced a company-wide Green Initiative aimed at reducing their environmental impact. Just as enVista helps companies create more efficient, lean global supply chains, the company now aims to make a similar difference in its own practice by eliminating waste, saving energy and diminishing their carbon footprint.

The enVista Green program includes:

  • Using electronic files and forms rather than paper copies
  • Eliminating use of disposable products in break rooms, such as plastic and styrofoam, and replacing them with permanent products
  • Recycling all cardboard, paper, plastic, and glass
  • Purchasing paper products that are recyclable
  • Utilizing virtual offices to reduce gas consumption and co2 emissions.
  • Reimbursing associates that replace existing light bulbs in their homes with energy-efficient, fluorescent bulbs
  • Encouraging associates to plant a tree every year and reimbursing those who do

Though enVista expects some practices, such as reduced energy consumption, to also yield cost savings, its Green Initiative is designed for its environmental benefits.
