enVista Announces Software as a Service Agreement with Microsoft

Atlanta, GA, April 26, 2010 - enVista, a leading enterprise and supply chain consulting services firm and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, announced today at Convergence, the premier Microsoft Dynamics event, that it has entered into a Software as a Service (SaaS) Software Provider Licensing Agreement with Microsoft. Accordingly, enVista is one of a very few select Microsoft Dynamics AX partners to offer Microsoft Dynamics AX as a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. This offering is especially valuable for small to mid-sized companies that require the depth of functionality Microsoft’s ERP delivers, but at a smaller scale and budget.
enVista was chosen to be one of Microsoft’s few SaaS partners based on its depth of supply chain consulting experience, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.

As a SaaS provider, enVista can license and deploy Microsoft’s software and hosted applications for clients. SaaS providers offer these services from one or more data centers through the Internet, a telephony network, or a private network on a rental, subscription, or services basis.
