news announcementS Urban Brands Partners with enVista for WMS Implementation LOS ANGELES, May 8, 2006--Urban Brands, a $175 million retailer marketing stores under the name of Marianne and Ashley Stewart, has contracted enVista to manage the implementation and rollout of the Manhattan Associates WM for I-Series product at their Secaucus, New Jersey distribution facility. The Urban Brands warehouse facility is currently divided into two separate areas to support each retail operation; both of which are configured around a put-to-store sortation application that allows workers to assign received product to retail stores based upon a pre-defined product allocation. enVista’s project team will design the Manhattan software application to support the separate retail store operations, the put-to-store material handling equipment, and will be flexible to support additional sales channels such as direct to consumer or catalog sales. The enVista project team will be under a tight implementation schedule in order to allow for enough testing and system stability prior to the Urban Brands busy season in early Fall. About enVista |
