Marcel has learned all he knows about logistics by actually applying it in the warehouse of a mid-size hospital and a small order driven fabric production facility.

His personal development lies mainly in improving the balance between people oriented and result oriented management with a large FMCG production facility and a European logistic service provider. He has held various positions in logistics, production, and quality environments and he has also held line and staff positions. He maximizes results by focusing on the development of vision, translating goals into targets, coaching employees and achieving results. Personal effectiveness studies and training have further supported his development.

Key activities in his career are: management and organization. He has managed small groups (12 FTE), as well as large groups (120 FTE), ill educated (vocational training) as well as highly educated (professional training) employees and employees from various backgrounds and cultures. He makes a difference by being present ‘on the work floor’. And he believes that results are achieved by people and by long term vision.  

He has chosen to apply his knowledge, competence and skills on the subjects of (production) logistic matters, people management and quality to third parties, his main goal being to improve processes, people and their mutual connection. He loves to cook and enjoys wine and jazz music.
