Jimmy Benefield, Senior Director of Strategy and Operations at enVista, has more than twenty years of experience in supply chain consulting and project management specifically in transportation, distribution manufacturing and 3rd party operations. He has successfully managed projects involving supply chain analysis, design of new facilities, facility redesign, logistics strategy, transportation optimization, performance management, operational audits, and supply chain software systems for leading North American and South American companies across a wide variety of industry segments.

Prior to joining enVista, Benefield worked in management and engineering roles in transportation, manufacturing and third party logistics. He has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s in business administration from California Coast University.

Benefield has authored numerous articles on supply chain and has served as a lecturer at supply chain tradeshows and events. He is a senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and a registered PE.

Outside of work, Benefield enjoys Aggie football, fishing, hunting and skydiving.
