enVista Named to 2014 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100

Selection based on supply chain transformation project for leading sporting goods retailer

Indianapolis, IN; May 19, 2014—enVista, a leading supply chain consulting and IT services firm, announced today that it was selected by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine for the publication’s 12th annual listing of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100, which highlights "100 Great Supply Chain Projects." The magazine’s editorial team selected enVista for the results it delivered to Hibbett Sports, including an entire supply chain transformation project that optimized processes, technology and the flow of merchandise, from source to consumption.

As part of the project, enVista implemented MercuryGate’s TMS, upgraded the retailer’s Manhattan Associates’ Warehouse Management System (WMS), upgraded the Warehouse Control System (WCS), and integrated over $17 million of material handling equipment in a brand new distribution center. Through this project, Hibbett Sports was able to transform its supply chain to synchronize supply with demand and increase speed to market, all while improving store service.

enVista President & CEO Jim Barnes said, "We are honored to be recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive for our project success for the third year in a row. This is a testament to the hard work and proven results enVista delivers to each of our clients. We are always striving to improve our clients’ business processes, profitability and bottom line results."

The 2014 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 list is comprised of supply chain solution and service providers that are helping their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence. They have produced measurable gains in ROI through cost-cutting and increased efficiency, whether in warehouse, transportation, procurement sourcing or any other category in the end-to-end supply chain.

Supply & Demand Chain Executive collected information on supply chain projects, including information on project objectives, scope, timeline and results. The submissions were evaluated by the magazine’s editorial staff, primarily based on: ambitiousness/scope of the project; creative application of technologies/solutions/services used; extent of the business results/impact; and clarity of submission.

After receiving nomination forms, the Supply & Demand Chain Executive editorial staff identified applicants that best fit the stated criteria for the "100."
